Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Message Bridge and this website collect. The short version: your message content never leaves your Mac, and we never receive it.

What the app does with your data

Note that the AI assistant you connect (for example ChatGPT/Codex, Claude, or Grok) has its own privacy policy. When you ask an assistant to act on a message, that assistant's own software decides what it sends to its provider. Message Bridge does not control that, and you should read the relevant provider's policy.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the information needed to complete your order (name, email, billing country, payment details) and processes it under Paddle's privacy policy. We receive a record of the purchase — including your email address and licence — so we can validate licences and provide support. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Licence validation
The app periodically checks that your licence is valid. That request contains your licence key and a non-identifying installation identifier. It does not contain message content, contact names, or the contents of your Mac.
This website
This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and delivery. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this site.
Retention
Purchase and licence records are retained while your licence is active and for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes. Support emails are retained until they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Email support@messagebridge.app and we will respond. For payment data held by Paddle, requests can also be directed to Paddle. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Children
Message Bridge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change and material changes will be noted here.
