Your AI assistants, in the Messages app you already use
Message Bridge is a macOS app that lets AI assistants — ChatGPT/Codex, Claude, and Grok — read and send Apple Messages on your own Mac, under rules you set. Nothing is uploaded: your conversations stay on your machine.

How it works
- Install the app and grant it Full Disk Access once, so it can read your local Messages database.
- Choose which assistants may connect, and which conversations they may read.
- Sending a message always requires your explicit confirmation.
Privacy by construction
- Message content never leaves your Mac. The app reads your local Messages database and hands results to an assistant running on the same machine.
- We do not receive, store, or transmit your message text — there is no server that could.
- Read access is allow-list based; send actions require confirmation.
See the privacy policy for exactly what is and isn't collected.
Requirements
- macOS 15 (Sequoia) or later
- Apple silicon (M1 or newer)
- Messages signed in on the Mac
